Instructions for Presentations
For our River Basins Conference 2026, we prefer to give more room to discussions right after the presentations. In this sense, you will have 20 minutes to present your topic, followed by a 10 minutes discussion.
Slides accompanying oral presentations should be prepared in MS PowerPoint or equivalent software, slide ratio 16:9, landscape format. Please name the file by the ID number of the submission, the first author, and an abbreviation of the title, separated by underscores. These data were communicated to you in the “notification upon acceptance” email. Example for a file name: “59_Smith_The_new_uwwtd_ORAL.pptx”. Please upload your slides by 04.06.2026 to this folder.

Instructions for poster pitch presentations
You will have 2 minutes to present your topic, so please prepare not more than two slides:
•    1st slide informing about the authors, their affiliation and the title of the poster
•    2nd slide informing about the main findings of the presented research.

Instructions for preparing posters
Posters should be grayscale or color, preferably in A0 portrait format (841 x 1189 mm). Please print your material in advance. If you do not wish to travel with your poster, you might print it before the conference day in a nearby copy shop e.g. here or here.
Materials for hanging the posters (walls, pins/tape) are provided in the conference place.

Conference venue
The conference takes place at the TRIANGEL venue in the heart of Karlsruhe city (next to Café Intro). TRIANGEL is located in Kaiserstraße 93, 76133 Karlsruhe.

Reaching by public transport: Nearest stops are “Kronenplatz (Fritz-Erler-Straße)” and “Kronenplatz (U)”, which is underground. For information on public transport within Karlsruhe refer to https://www.kvv.de/en/index.html
